DCL Fulfillment is an app available on BigCommerce App Marketplace. That makes the ideal solution if you want want to manage all the BigCommerce settings and the DCL BigCommerce connector preferences from inside one place only: your BigCommerce administration site.

Install DCL Fulfillment app

DCL Fulfillment can be found in the BigCommerce App Marketplace, which you can find by clicking on 'Marketplace' under the 'Apps' tab from your BigCommerce administration site. Enter the search term 'DCL Fulfillment' into the top-right search bar to quickly find our app.

Click on the DCL Fulfillment app logo and then click on "Install".

Access to DCL Fulfillment app settings

The DCL Fulfillment setting page can be found by pointing the mouse over the "Apps" link on the left side bar. A side menu will show up where you can find the "DCL Fulfillment app": click on the top link to open the preference page. If the store has never been linked to a DCL eFactory account, the form below will show, allowing you to enter the eFactory credentials to link the BigBommerce store to your DCL account.

General settings

  • Enable DCL API

    Enable DCL background processes to acknowledge and fulfill orders, and update stock quantity.
  • Acknowledge Only

    DCL will only acknowledge orders but not fulfill unless requested.
  • Collect Prices

    DCL will collect all the prices for the order and print on the packing list if needed.
  • Update Inventory

    DCL will update store inventory. The background process is scheduled to update your inventory every 4 hours. If you need to update it more frequently, please contact customer support.
  • Order Process Status

    DCL will process orders with selected status.
  • Import Days

    DCL will import orders only on these selected days.
  • Import Time (PST)

    DCL will import orders only in this range of time. Make sure the time range is at least 20 minute wide.
  • Order Age

    Time allowed for customer changes before order is transferred to DCL.

Mapping shipping methods

Shipping methods defined and enabled in BigCommerce need to be mapped to the DCL shipping methods. Select the tab "Shipping methods" to review and define additional mappings.

You can find the BigCommerce shipping methods under "Settings / Store Setup / Shipping" menu in your administration site.


Changes on admin interface

The apps enhances the BigCommerce admin interface showing additional information to keep track your orders and inventory status. You can access to these two additional pages by pointing the mouse over the "Apps" link on the left side bar. A side menu will show up where you can find the "DCL Fulfillment app" with a drop down menu: click on the right icon to expand the menu (if not already expanded). You will see the two "Order Status" and the "Product Status" menus.

On the Order Status we will show the status of your orders at DCL.
